Rapid Replacement Solution for Gas Turbine Compressor Blades

A major power plant in the Middle East experienced unexpected damage to several compressor blades in its gas turbine unit, causing serious operational risks and potential extended downtime. The customer immediately contacted the original equipment manufacturer for replacement parts. However, the quoted delivery time was excessively long and unable to meet the plant’s urgent maintenance schedule.


After weeks of searching for alternative suppliers without success, the customer was introduced to Navi Turbine.


The client provided damaged blade samples and basic technical data for evaluation. Leveraging our advanced reverse engineering capability and precision forging expertise, our engineering team quickly completed dimensional analysis, tooling preparation, and production planning within a very short timeframe.


Using our patented precision forging process, we successfully manufactured a batch of high-precision compressor blades with ultra-low machining allowance and excellent dimensional consistency. Compared with conventional manufacturing methods, the production cycle was significantly shortened, enabling the customer to receive replacement blades far earlier than the original supplier’s estimated delivery schedule.


After installation, the blades achieved excellent operational compatibility and stable performance under real operating conditions. The rapid replacement solution helped the power plant minimize turbine downtime, reduce financial losses, and restore normal power generation operations quickly and efficiently.


This project demonstrated Navi Turbine’s capability in fast-response manufacturing, reverse engineering, and high-performance forged blade production for critical gas turbine applications.
